A long pause in the middle of the week
A rooftop venue with open fire and a view worth arriving before sunset for. The menu is short and almost entirely from the grill: whole fish, vegetables from the ash, meat over coals. In winter the terrace is not closed but covered.
The terrace does not close for winter — it gets covered, and the fire keeps going.
The roof stood empty for a long time, until it turned out the wind is quieter up here than below. Now there is fire, long tables and a view nobody pays extra for.
Come before sunset — not for the photograph, but because that is when the fire is lit.
